Al380 is the most common Aluminum die casting alloy cast in North America. It is the most economical aluminum alloy and has a good combination of casting ability and properties compared to other aluminum alloys. Aluminum alloys in general are lighter weight and performs well under a higher combination of stress and temperature than is typical for most zinc die casting alloys. Eastern Alloys distributes the A380 alloy, and is available in either partial or full truckloads and in combination with zinc die casting alloys.
